I grew up in Warmington and then Yarwell as a boy, so I have lived in Peterborough all of my life. I film weddings all across the UK and destination weddings in Europe. However, I always like videoing local weddings and Peterborough has many excellent options of wedding venues. Below are some of my favourite venues around Peterborough and the surrounding areas.
Holmewood Hall is a beautiful new wedding venue of which I am a recommended supplier. It has character, fantastic grounds with lots of wildlife including deer. This is a promo video I produced for Holmewood Hall in March 2023.
I have filmed at Orton Hall many times. There is a Church next to the venue, or ceremonies can be held in the fantastic Orangery. There are many locations for photos and video in the grounds, however sometimes it is nice to go for a stroll at ferry meadows for some couple shots.
The Great Northern Hotel is next to the Train Station in the centre of Peterborough. There are limited opportunities for photographs in the grounds, but its possible to take a short drive to another location for some great portrait shots.
I have filmed many weddings and school proms at the Marriott Hotel in Peterborough. It is conveniently located as a venue and has space to cater for a number of guests.
