A Beautiful Day Productions Wedding Films - A Cambridgeshire based wedding videographer - producing wedding films for couples across England, Wales, Scotland and some amazing worldwide destination venues.
We are a small creative team of wedding videographers. Our passion is to film your wedding day in a discrete, professional manner and produce your film into an engaging movie which you will want to watch over and over again.
Please look through our video trailers of weddings filmed and get in touch if you have any questions.
Our style of filming Weddings
Wedding days are special and unique. The couple have their close friends and family join them to celebrate their day and the day is filled with warmth, love and happiness. We like to naturally capture the day as it unfolds, capturing the love, emotions and laughter on the day. We like to film from distance and naturally walking around as your guests mingle.
Multi-Camera Filming
We record using professional Canon DSLRs and Lenses. For the important formal aspects of the day:
- the Ceremony
- the Speeches
- the First Dance
We film with 3-4 cameras so we can cut to different angles and to cover the day as you see it and as your guests see it far better. During the speeches, we record the person speaking and the person being spoken about to best capture the emotions and reactions.
Audio
For video production, audio is just as important as the video footage. We use a mixture of Lapel Mics, Field Mics and Camera Mics to achieve the best possible audio capture of the day.
Other Equipment
In addition to the above, we use Drone Videography for mostly establishing shots, DJI RS 2 Gimbal Stabilizer for smooth walking (gliding shots) and A motorised slider for cinematic movement shots. The footage we receive from the use of this equipment allows us to create a more engaging and cinematic wedding video.
Notley Abbey captured by the DJI Mini 2 Drone
The Gimbal allows for cinematic 'floating' shots. This fantastic clip of Remo and Hannah entering the Wedding Breakfast was filmed on the Gimbal
The Golden Hour
We work with you and the weather on your day. If you are lucky enough on your special day to have a Golden Hour (the hour before sunset when the sun is low, and the sun is soft, dramatic and leaves a golden glow) we will work with you and the Photographer to try to maximise the use of the day.
We were treated to an amazing Golden Hour at Tesh & Callum's wedding at Fawsley Hall in Northamptonshire. The couple agreed to put back the first dance a little so we could have a quick walk out during this stunning sun.
Editing
In terms of time, filming the day is the tip of the iceberg! The time investment into production of a wedding video is the editing of the movie. We use the professional editing package Adobe Premiere Pro and a powerful HP Workstation to process and render the multi-camera footage.
